Scottish Service Directory
The Scottish Service Directory has a whole host of local information relating to health and wellbeing which is searchable based on what is required. This can range from medical services, local food banks and support groups.
 
Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership – AGILE
Has a range of information on services available to individuals across Aberdeen which will keep them living independently at home. Most services are free, however where there is a cost the document will signpost to where financial support can be accessed. This is for all ages.
 
NHS Inform
NHS Inform provide information on a whole range of topics from how to treat minor ailments, how to access appropriate medical help and useful links for support with healthy eating, physical activity and mental health.
 
Citizens Advice
This covers all information from employment to household bills and tax. Lots of information can be found online but people can also visit in person at the Aberdeen Union Street branch.
 
Scarf
A local social enterprise who offer support around energy. Scarf can provide practical advice around bills but also carry out home energy checks to see how people could save more money on their bills.
 
ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland)
ALISS is a national digital programme enabling people and professionals to find and share information on resources, services, groups, and support in their local communities and online.

This service can be accessed by calling up your GP Practice and asking to be referred.
 
NHSG Health Point 
NHS Grampian Health Point provide free and confidential information regarding; Improving your health, health concerns and accessing NHS services, as well as local and national support groups and organisations.
 
Young Carer Toolkit
This Toolkit aims to support schools and services to increase awareness of the needs of Young Carers and put in place the reasonable adjustments necessary to ensure that Young Carers reach their full potential. It also offers guidance on how to develop a Young Carers Statement.
 
Aberdeen City Council Benefits Calculator
Aberdeen City Council’s benefit calculator is easy to use and calculates, based on the personal information you provide, what benefits you may be entitled to. It is completely anonymous and only you get to see the calculation.
Completing it should take no more than ten minutes and at the end you can download a copy of your calculation or email it to yourself.
