Tue 20 Sep 2022

The second Aberdeen Health and Wellbeing Festival will be held on Saturday 01 October at the Sir Ian Wood Building, Robert Gordon University (RGU), Garthdee Road, Aberdeen, AB10 7GJ.

The festival aims to motive, educate and inspire the local population into taking an active role in looking after themselves and each other.  The organisers passionately believe that Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are the perfect places to live healthy lives with lots of nearby beaches, forests and hills.

On the day (open 9.30am-5pm) there will be over 50 family friendly interactive stalls from City & Shire charities, organisations and businesses that promote and encourage good health and wellbeing.

The event is FREE for the public to attend.

There will be opportunities for families to learn CPR, to hear ways of helping their mental wellbeing (such as decider skills), to try meditation, to try yoga, dance, a fitness class, to learn ways of helping people live with ADHD/ neurodiversity, climate change and more.

There will also be performances from a local children’s choir, children's theatre group and children's dance group.
